A 67-year-old man with a history of coronary artery disease and stable angina goes to the emergency department because of episodes of chest discomfort that have been increasing in duration. Upon presentation, he is experiencing chest discomfort and is treated with clopidogrel, heparin, intravenous nitroglycerin, and intravenous beta-blocker. He is admitted to the critical care unit, and a 12-lead ECG is obtained.
