Dr Robert Califf conducts a series of in-depth and personal interviews with his peers in the world of cardiology to find out what makes them tick, how they feel about the future, and what lessons they have learned during their exceptional careers.

Dr Paul Armstrong made his way from a small town in Northern Ontario to Queen's University, then to the Massachusetts General Hospital and a year at "finishing school" in London, before coming back to a long and illustrious research career in Canada. He talks to Dr Califf about why he switched from psychiatry to cardiology, how the GUSTO group came together, and why he feels privileged to do what he does.
